• Blue Pine Homes’ HGTV Worthy Home in Midway, Utah

    It’s all in the details!

Taking the time to plan, to really REALLY plan, will pay off in the end when building your new home.

As an interior designer for longer than I care to think about, I find that I often have 2 types of clients.

    • The couple that has a general idea of what they want and heavily rely on my expertise.
    • The couple that comes in with a folder, filled to the brim of specific ideas of what they want in detail. (with today’s technology it’s all on their Houz or Pinterest page.) This client is 100% all in! These guys are fun to work with!!

    Such was our latest Clients.

Ben and Ashley were building their forever home, inspired by HGTV’s “Fixer Upper”. Ashley knew every room color scheme and wall texture and of course Ben knew where every outlet and configuration of his man cave and theater room would go.

Reclaimed wood – one would THINK, ohhhh but tile companies have finally got their wood looks perfect!  Picture this, wood look and tile durability.  This kitchen is a wonderful balance with an exciting busy patterned floor to the clean simplicity of the gorgeous cabinets.

Their Powder Room was one of my favorites.

Shiplap wall siding with the soft Sherwin Williams Paint (Sea Salt) makes for a delightful guest bath.

Keeping in mind that young children will be running through this busy mudroom; this barn door was a perfect choice for space saving.  I love the texture and of course the Sea Salt paint again on the coat rack.

Check back again with our blog as we share more details of Ben and Ashley’s home.
